Add some colour to your life!

Guys get going now easiest and snazziest way to up date your last years Summer look, get into some clear colour. My pick is a blue drill jean, for an instant know what I am doing look, at least do some block…. one bold colour shorts. If you cant go that far make sure you are wearing clear coloured shirts. Love the Mini thinking of changing cars, if any one has one or experience with one love to have your comments.

Hot Trends

Love love all the new pieces this season…. stripes, brights, long skirts, split skirts, the shaped hem, very fresh. Soft wide brimmed hat all essential to up date your look. One of my favourite must have is the coloured jean, JBrand from DJ’s and Pink Zebra do a brilliant red, blue, aqua, orange (my fav) and lemon. Check out True Religion at Scoop and Myer. Zara has a great new blue and Dotti have some good colours if the jeans work for you. Wear your coloured jeans tight with neutral shoes, my pick or colour blocked!

I am mad about silk shirts this year, washing easy but not happy to iron them. I found at the local Good Guys a Conair steamer.Perfect for silk shirts, jeans and freshening up school shirt collars. If like me you don’t iron this is for you.

What the?

What is all the new jargon about? Colour blocking? New trend this season, dress in the new brights. All it means is wearing ‘bright’ or ‘colour’ pieces and how to do it. Simple just weigh up the colours ie same shade or depth of colour and wear together the possibilities are endless. My personal favourite hot pink with orange, cobalt blue with apple green, or a bright with neutrals.Consider your outfit and the pieces, silk top, peg leg pants, jacket, bag and shoes. Keep it ‘blocked’ with contrast and if lots of colour contrasts are used keep the accessories neutral.

It’s October and What to do?

It’s all about colour and the ‘new’ shape, the clothes are easy so easy it is boring, so “what to do?”, get into accessories the shoes are glorious, bags are smaller and delicious, hats floppy and fun.Try this on your toes for a bit of that surprise factor gold or silver tips depending on your own colour way. I am test driving the new Shellac nail varnishes, great finish and it lasts for weeks will let you know how the nails fair.

Footy Fever is over so grab a Kebab

Fab weekend of football, shame about the weather! Time for you guys to clean and sharpen your BBQ tools because the warm weather is on it’s way! Get into practise with these simple but tasty Prawn and Pineapple Kebabs with Chorizo sausage on the side. Simply thread on skewers remember to cut the vegetables a similar size to the Prawns smaller than pictured and BBQ. Try with chilli sauce …delicious!

Careful not to splash your T shirt.

TIP If you get oil on your knit simply spray with Preen or preferred stain remover then puff baby powder onto stain to absorb the oil, then wash .
